Celebration of Life Ceremonies

Losing someone you love is not only an emotional roller coaster, but a very confusing, daunting and difficult time.

I will meet with you and talk to you at length about your loved one.  Getting to know that person through you, and feeling like I know them, is so important in creating a ceremony and script reflecting everything about them.  We will discuss the type of ceremony you would like and exactly what you want included in the service.  You may want a ‘lighter’ ceremony, with stories, laughter, anecdotes and music.  This could include a quiet time for thought and prayer, or you may prefer no religious or spiritual matter whatsoever.

I will be completely guided by you and your wishes.

Scattering of Ashes and Memorial Ceremonies

If you would prefer a Scattering of Ashes or Memorial Ceremony, I am able to perform these wherever and whenever is convenient for you.   This may be after the Crematorium or Burial, on the anniversary or even some years later.  The ceremony can take place somewhere that was special to your loved one – maybe by the sea or even in their garden.

Where families have chosen to have no service, and just be presented with their loved one’s ashes, then this type of service is particularly suitable.
